The first thing to tighten is message clarity. If someone cannot explain what you do after a few seconds on the site, the brand is making them work too hard.
The second is visual consistency. Repetition is how recognition is built, and that requires discipline across typography, color, imagery, and layout choices.
The third is audience fit. A brand can be polished and still feel off if the tone, references, or priorities do not line up with the people it wants to attract.
